Kitsuma is a strong, gravity-first shock that allows you to go faster thanks to a more personalized tune. With the increased ground-tracking sensitivity of a coil spring and the most damper oil of our entire shock family, it offers amazing downhill performance and maximum possible grip.
Kitsuma’s defining feature is its tool-free, 4-way damper controls. Easily adjusted by hand and offering a visual indication of your settings, Kitsuma encourages you to develop your own custom, pro-level tune – all in the name of supporting you getting down the hill faster and with more control than before.
Kitsuma favors descending but it’s not afraid to climb, with a rock-solid firm setting, it’s a gravity-first shock that wants to be pedaled to the top of the mountain for another run down.

Shock works awesome. Great support on big hits and great small bump sensitivity.

Changed my enduro completely for the better. First ride set new downhill personal records and not even trying.

Absolutely game changing. I upgraded from a Fox Float X performance and I could instantly feel an improvement in control and numb absorption, especially at high speeds and on extended runs. I originally wanted the progressive spring but due to back orders, I went with the linear and honestly, I don’t think I’d want a progressive spring. The shock is super tuneable but just doing a couple of hours of research gave me the basic understanding to take advantage of it. Even climbing the shock is amazing with the climb switch.

This shock transformed my ’22 Process 153, even compared to a famous woodland creature’s simple coil shock. The small bump compliance is incredible, bottom out support is controllable, and pumping rollers and jump lips is still poppy but much more confidence inspiring. Jumping, in particular is better to dial in than with previous shocks, and even other bikes. So much so that I’ve been going for doubles and gaps that I haven’t in the past. The granularity of the settings allows you to dial in your ride one click at a time, with noticeable differences between them, on the trail. Love this shock, and love Cane Creek.

Smooth, fast and surprisingly efficient – the Kitsuma takes down every other flagship coil shock I have had the privilege of running. Probably the dampest shock I have ever run, and it feels very at home on my 170 bike. Comes alive when going fast while not bogging down or feeling too floaty when climbing. Insane amount of grip and the easiest shock to tune to my preference in my experience. Great service from Cane Creek’s service department as well. Well done!
