DB REAR SHOCKS

Double Barrel Twin Tube Technology

TAKE CONTROL

Twin Tube technology is what allows DB shocks to be easily tunable. Damper oil circulates through valves that are adjusted externally, and because of this unique design you can tune rebound and compression damping independently via the external adjusters. DB shocks bring accessibility to fine tune your shock at any time, any way you want.

BRING MORE CONTROL TO YOUR RIDE

DB Twin Tube Technology is built into every Cane Creek Rear Shock

MORE OIL | LESS HEAT | MAX CONTROL

Cane Creek’s revolutionary line of DB rear shocks brings Twin Tube suspension technology to the bicycle market. Based on a foundation of precision, quality, and cutting-edge innovation – our rear shocks represent the pinnacle of high-performance bicycle suspension systems. Cane Creek DB shocks offers riders not only the broadest adjustment range available, but also Independent 4-way adjustability, patented CS technology and sensitivity only hand built suspension can provide.

Independent 4-way Adjustability
Suspension is personal. Double Barrel shocks offer an unsurpassed range of tuning. On an individual basis, there is no secret formula to determine the tune that best works for each rider. The Double Barrel allows for custom tuning for any bike right out of the box.
Hand Built in Western North Carolina
Every Cane Creek Double Barrel Rear Shock is meticulously built by hand in our Western North Carolina Facility. Our Suspension Technicians are specially trained to handle, inspect, and validate each individual part, sub assembly and damper as they painstankly build up each component into a fully functioning shock absorber - only signing their name to their finished work after it has passed our production line dyno test.
Climb Switch Technology
Double Barrel CS is a selectable climbing mode on Cane Creek shocks that allows you to retain the advantages of a fully-suspended bike while climbing, without unwanted suspension motion. The Climb Switch changes the low speed damping in one simple switch, to optimize suspension dynamics during climbing. Additionally - The DB Kitsuma offers a “Firm” mode for extended climbs on pavement or gravel.
DB Technology Inside
Every Cane Creek Rear Shock is build with our class-leading DB Twin-Tube Technology. More Oil | Less Heat | Max Contol

Trail Enduro Downhill

A highly adjustable air shock that is incredibly intuitive and easy to tune. Built for maximum performance on any terrain.

Trail Enduro Downhill

Nothing keeps you planted to the trail like a coil shock. DB Kitsuma Coil brings superb off the top sensitivity, ultra traction and consistent damping performance over any terrain.

Light enough for XC, tough enough for trail and enduro riding.  IL shocks use 40-50% more damper oil compared to other shocks in it’s class. On the trail, this routing of oil translates into less fade, more control, and greater consistency.

DB Coil IL is the lightest weight coil shock on the market. The DB Coil IL is the first ever twin-tube inline shock that packs in all of the function of a piggyback coil shock in a lighter and sleeker package

Got this (old) version on sale after the new version came out, and have been very impressed with the performance. Great shock - feels sensitive/supple but also supportive and poppy when I need it. Nice work Cane Creek.

Design Engineer
Name: Reed Mann
Position: Design Engineer
Year started: 2022
Best part of being a part of the Cane Creek family:  It’s very refreshing to work for a small, tight-knit company where we all share the same passions and to develop new products that make cycling better for everyone.
What you’ll find me doing on the weekends: Obviously riding bikes, but also wrenching on bikes or cars, exploring the mountains, and watching F1 races.
How I got here (at Cane Creek): Feeling pretty unfulfilled with a corporate engineering job, I happened to see that Cane Creek was hiring. I jumped at the opportunity to get my hands dirty working on the latest bike tech and was fortunate enough to be offered the position.
