Tuning your suspension starts with dialing in your spring. The independent positive and negative air chambers – along with the self contained indexed volume adjustment system allow all Helm air forks to be set up for any rider and any style.
The Helm MKII air spring has a redesigned air piston which increases air volumes and reduces friction, greatly improving traction and suppleness on trail. The threadless seal head and manual negative air charge button designs allow for easy travel setting adjustments and the ability to properly set up riders of all different sizes and abilities.
Every single Helm fork is designed, built, inspected, tested and packed by a dedicated team of suspension professionals at our facility in Fletcher, North Carolina. Our suspension team’s attention to detail is illustrated in our three step Dyno testing, ensuring that our hand built products reach high standards of precision and performance.

Andy Bennett answered on April 4, 2024 store managerHello, please email us at support@canecreek.com and we can help you with your rear shock and fork fitment questions. Thanks!
Andy Bennett answered on March 28, 2024 store managerIt does both... It will change how much travel your fork has obviously. But reducing travel will steepen your head angle while increasing travel will slacken the head angle. This will also affect your BB height so consult your frame's manufacturer to make sure you can adjust fork travel.

Fork made a big change to my bike. I had a Fox Rhythm on it. No control over bottom out. The Helm solved that and gave a much plusher ride.

Soft paint finish on lowers mars and scrapes far to easily, otherwise this fork is flawless. Dampening works as advertised and it is very versatile and user friendly. I would buy another.

Much better than the Rockshox Sidluxe that came on my Transition Spur! This one is holding up well so far, the Sidluxe leaked oil and air and was pretty useless after not long at all. Little tricky to tune and setup, but love that you can tune the high and low speed compression and rebound. Doesn't work with a shockwiz though due to the nature of the dual air chambers. Feels great riding though, even though my tuning/setup could probably be better!
