Tigon is an entirely new DB Twin Tube shock that combines the sensitivity of a coil shock with the tunable support of an air spring – to fuel your most creative and playful riding yet.
Tigon tracks the ground and grips like a coil shock, but thanks to our new patent-pending RAMP Tube Technology it also offers the mid-stroke and bottom out support that is often required from an air shock. Both of these benefits are now delivered in an entirely new layout that better withstands side-loading and buckling forces that can harm traditional coil shocks.
Want sensitivity and grip? Tigon delivers.
Want more support? Just add air!
Tigon’s RAMP Tube is a small air spring that works in conjunction with its main coil spring to control the shock’s progression. With this added feature, a rider will still rely on the main coil to support their body weight while setting sag – but can easily add up to 35% progression relative to a traditional coil shock. These adjustments are made using a basic shock pump.

Tigon combines the ground tracking sensitivity of a coil shock with the mid-stroke and bottom out support of an air shock. Cane Creek’s Engineering team produced the world’s first DB Twin Tube shock that defies traditional shock categories.
The air-charged RAMP Tube on Tigon allows riders to make quick, easy adjustments to increase liveliness, add support, or conversely, improve the plushness of their ride.

I'm 6ft, 215# fully-knitted, 650# spring, 30% sag, HSC at 25%, LSC and LSR at factory 50%, 20psi in ramp tube. 1st ride on 2021 Specialized Levo Comp 29er...18.6mi with over 3200ft elevation change of everything from flat grassland trails to heavily-rooted mine fields to downhills with 6-8in drops in technical terrain and shock performed much better than my stock air shock. I felt more sure-footed even on the gnarliest of big roots. No detectable bottom-outs, but I didn't do any jumps today. Very pleased with my purchase.
Sorry, no reviews match your current selections
Tigon has a "firm" setting, activated by the Climb Switch lever on the valve body. It restricts oil flow in the damper to make it significantly stiffer, and slower rebounding than the open mode. It's not a full lockout, but it's firm enough to feel very solid when pedaling out of the saddle on most bikes.

Un-freaking-believable! I purchased this for a 2024 Trek Fuel Ex 9.8. I found the stock shock harsh on small bumps and chatter.
I expected some trade offs moving to the Tigon. I’m happily disappointed in that expectation. I have not encountered a situation where the Tigon has not out performed the stock shock. Climbing? Loads of traction and support. Jumping? Controlled pop for days! Descending? No surprise here…buttery smooth. Pumping? This thing should work at a gas station.
Add face melting customer service from Andy to this legendary shock performance and I’ll be happily riding Cane Creek suspension for years to come!
Had a factory air shock which blew up after 4 months(yes it was “that” shock) I wasn’t going to deal with it so order the tigon with high hopes and it does not disappoint, I cannot describe the night and day feel, this shock is amazing, it eats big hits, is great in tech, the ramp tube is an outstanding feature, the climb switch works very well to firm up LSC. Rode oregon, Nevada, and Arizona so far without issue. I hope it remains reliable, time will tell.
6’1” 230lbs athletic build, ibis ripmo, 650lb vault linear, 25lb in ramp tube. Thinking of getting another to run on a Santa Cruz. Will be ordering a 600lb spring for when I’m not wearing rain gear and a backpack.
