REAR SHOCKS

CANE CREEK

DB REAR SHOCKS

Double Barrel Twin Tube Technology

Our legendary twin tube damper design moves much more oil through externally adjustable valving instead of forcing it through shims on the main piston. This circulating oil flow allows for superior tunability and eliminates the need for internal valving changes to achieve your optimal shock tune.

Cane Creek’s revolutionary line of DB rear shocks brings Twin Tube suspension technology to the bicycle market. Based on a foundation of precision, quality, and cutting-edge innovation – our rear shocks represent the pinnacle of high-performance bicycle suspension systems.

Cane Creek’s revolutionary line of DB rear shocks brought Twin Tube suspension technology to the bicycle market. Based on a foundation of precision, quality, and cutting-edge innovation – our rear shocks represent the pinnacle of high-performance bicycle suspension systems. Cane Creek DB shocks offers riders not only the broadest adjustment range available, but also Independent adjustability, patented CS technology and sensitivity that only hand built suspension can provide.

Independent 4-way Adjustability
Suspension is personal. Double Barrel shocks offer an unsurpassed range of tuning. On an individual basis, there is no secret formula to determine the tune that best works for each rider. The Double Barrel allows for custom tuning for any bike right out of the box.
Hand Built in Western North Carolina
Every Cane Creek Double Barrel Rear Shock is meticulously built by hand in our Western North Carolina Facility. Our Suspension Technicians are specially trained to handle, inspect, and validate each individual part, sub assembly and damper as they painstankly build up each component into a fully functioning shock absorber - only signing their name to their finished work after it has passed our production line dyno test.
Climb Switch Technology
Double Barrel CS is a selectable climbing mode on Cane Creek shocks that allows you to retain the advantages of a fully-suspended bike while climbing, without unwanted suspension motion. The Climb Switch changes the low speed damping in one simple switch, to optimize suspension dynamics during climbing. Additionally - The DB Kitsuma offers a “Firm” mode for extended climbs on pavement or gravel.

RAMP Tube Technology
Want more support? Just add air! Using a basic shock pump, riders can now tune the support of their coil shock by adding pressure to the RAMP Tube. This added air chamber increases the progression of the shock and gives all the mid-stroke and bottom out support that you may want. -Available only on Tigon shocks

FASTER WITH THE TURN OF A DIAL

Kitsuma is a gravity-first shock that allows you to go faster thanks to a personalized tune. With the most oil volume of our entire shock family, it offers the best downhill performance possible.

Kitsuma’s defining feature is it’s tool-free, 4-way damper controls. Adjusted by hand and offering a visual indication of your individualized tune, Kitsuma encourages you to develop your own custom, pro level tune – all in the name of supporting you getting down the hill as fast as possible.

Amazing downhill performance with the light weight, easy setup, and highly tunable support of an air shock.

Prioritizes grip and traction with the increased ground-tracking sensitivity of a coil spring. For when getting down the hill fast is the priority.

THE AIR-CHARGED COIL SHOCK

Tigon is an entirely new DB Twin Tube shock that combines the sensitivity of a coil shock with the tunable support of an air spring – to fuel your most creative and playful riding yet.

SENSITIVITY OR SUPPORT? CHOOSE BOTH.

REDEFINE SHORT TRAVEL

IL is a powerful, small shock that helps you reveal the full potential of shorter-travel bikes.

IL shocks offer better damping and smoother suspension performance than other shocks in their class. They prove that your bike’s capability cannot be measured in wheel travel – designed for the rider who values going up as much as going down.

Light and supportive enough for crushing climbs, with the damping performance of much heavier, piggyback shocks for ripping fast descents. For when going up is as important as going down.

The lightest twin tube coil shock on the market – The ground-tracking sensitivity of coil gives a level of control to your bike that you never thought possible – without the downsides of the weight and inefficiency of larger shocks or longer-travel suspension platforms.
