Worked great for my old Thudbuster (I think it was an S type)
The question is Why I bought this item?
I bought it because while riding my very expensive Reise miler bike, this element unexpectedly simply broke off!!!!
it was clearly made of some crappy china metal. Bravo Cane Creek I almost die .
Not that great. The newer seatpost design is much better.
