Our Seatpost Adapters provide the opportunity for riders to tune and adjust the compliance of their ride. By swapping the original seatpost for a post with a smaller diameter, riders are able to maintain the advantages from a strong rigid frame while simultaneously creating a smoother ride.
Yes they are! Be certain to use a bit of carbon assembly paste between the adapter and the inside of the seattube.
All of our seat post adapters are 100mm in length.
If using the correct shim/seat post you should not need anything to keep it from slipping, other than a light coat of grease on all the parts to prevent them from sticking together. If your seatpost is routinely slipping check the torque on your seat post collar, and make sure the seat tube on the frame, the adapter, and the seatpost are all correct for the bike and not damaged.
If the post continues to slip you can use friction paste in lieu of grease and this can help the parts from sliding. Any good quality friction paste made for bicycle application should help.

Verified OwnerI had tube measured with a drop in taper gauge and it measured at 26 mm. The seat post was stamped as 25.4. The shim was too big… I used an aluminum can.
