This increased stiffness facilitates precise headset adjustment and sets it apart from other lightweight caps.
Purchased after using a short expander plug that that kept loosening and caused the ring of death on a fork. The Ancora plug and it's length have all contact points and clamping holding solid. For the folks that have had cracking issues. You should find out what torque setting the carbon manufacturer suggest. The fork I have is a 5.5nm torque and have had no slipping or loosening issues. Highly recommend the Ancora.
