Verified OwnerThis is replacing the first version of the Redshift StopShock seatpost on my Salsa Cutthroat. I have been very happy with the performance of the Redshift but I needed to make my bike lighter and the eeSilk+ seatpost is almost half the weight than the StopShock. So far I'm happy with the choice but this one feels different, I don't have enough miles to fully comment. The eeSilk+ is more bouncy than the StopShock because the elastomer springs back faster than the spring in the StopShock. I'm 180 lbs, while the standard #5 is rated 150 to 210 lbs, I'm debating about trying the #7 elastomer but I'll give it more miles before.
