Cane Creek Stewardship

G5 Trail Day

Cane Creek Cycling Components is more than just a company bringing the cycling world some of the industries most innovative products – We are, first and foremost, people who love bikes and we truly believe we are working to make bikes better.  This concept goes far beyond designing, testing and manufacturing premium components.  This idea is instilled into our personalities, ambitions, and drive.  Cane Creek Cycling Components is proud to support like minded organizations and continues to work towards a brighter future of greater trail access, protected bike lanes and more equality and accessibility.

Partnering Charity & Advocacy Groups:

The Pisgah Conservancy

Over the years the Pisgah Project and Cane Creek have brought together a group of premium cycling component manufacturers to build a very special bike with a truly selfless purpose.  Over the last five years The Pisgah Project has raised over $175,000 for the Pisgah Conservancy.

By participating in the Pisgah Project Raffle, supporters invest in clean streams, maintained trails and a thriving environment for future generations to enjoy. The unique aspect of The Pisgah Conservancy is that it unifies the community. Mountain bikers, hikers, equestrians, backpackers, fishermen and the rest of the user groups all have a voice.

PISGAH AREA SORBA

Pisgah Area SORBA is dedicated to preserving mountain biking opportunities by maintaining and improving trail systems in the Pisgah Ranger District and surrounding region.

Land managers simply do not have the budget to build and maintain the trails that you want to ride. Now, more than ever they need our help.

Asheville On Bikes

AoB cultivates the culture of urban and commuter cycling through advocacy, education, & celebration. We believe that cycling has a direct impact on the health of our community.

Love to ride? So do we!

Together we are making Asheville a better city to ride your bike.  Asheville on Bikes was started by bike riders, for bike riders. We celebrate bike culture regularly through group rides, special events, and educational programs.

Blue Ridge Dirt Skrrts

We are breaking barriers… by offering no-drop rides for all abilities from beginner to expert. Every second Saturday of the month, we explore the mountain bike trails of Western North Carolina. Post-ride we meet to continue the fun and companionship at local breweries, bike shops or other event spaces.

BikeWalk NC

BikeWalk NC envisions a state where anyone can choose to bicycle, roll, run, and walk as practical, healthy, safe and active transportation.

Their mission is to lead, support, and inspire advocacy and educational efforts throughout North Carolina for an environment that fairly, safely, and equitably serves bicyclists, pedestrians, and others using active mobility and human-powered transportation.

The League of American Bicyclists

The League works to make biking better – From the halls of Congress to the streets of your community, the League is working to make biking better for you. We are the voice of the nation’s 57 million bicyclists, promoting and protecting your right to ride.

For generations past and to come, The league represents bicyclists in the movement to create safer roads, stronger communities, and a Bicycle Friendly America. Through education, advocacy and promotion, we work to celebrate and preserve the freedom cycling brings to our members everywhere.

G5 Trail Collective

The G5 Trail Collective has been spearheading the effort behind a new sustainable multi-use trail project in this region of the Pisgah National Forest. Once completed, their efforts will bring 42 miles of new accessible trails – connecting some of Pisgah’s classics.

Since November of 2021, Jon Lane has been on site as the first sections of trails are prepped, cut in and hand finished. He has been helping to instruct volunteer efforts and was pleasantly surprised by the trail work efficiency the Cane Creek team possesses.
