eeSilk Stem CS comes with a Compliance Switch to instantly toggle between soft and firm modes while riding. Run it on ‘Soft’ for maximum plushness, then flip to ‘Firm’ when you want reduced stem movement for pedaling out of the saddle or on smoother surfaces.

Verified OwnerAt first I didn't notice the difference going over speed bumps, the bike felt normal. When I road on rougher sections I could tell, the bike absorbed a lot of the shock and I felt more in terms of control and comfort.

Smooths out the washboards and allows you to ride faster
Got both the stem and seat post. Totally transforms my 20 year old aluminum 105 27 speed road bike into a decent urban and bike trail bike.
These combined with nice 28x 700c (tallest that clears the frame) continentals and the occasional gravel is not an issue
If you ride gravel, this is the one upgrade that you need to make. Excellent product!
Efficient and easy to install.
Great stem and better than expected. Compliance switch is very effective and product really smooths out the ride when needed, while being able to climb with the stiffer setting. Would highly recommend.
