How do I identify my current headset?

In most cases you can simply look at the top cover of the headset. All Cane Creek models as of 2011 have the headset ID marked on the cup for quick identification.

Stock headsets that come on bikes from the manufacturer may not have a model name or much information at all. In this case you may need to remove certain parts to measure your head tube in order to identify what you have.
