    Thudbuster ST Elastomer (Newest Version) - Extra Firm - BAE0270-80

    I'm a plus size model, so I needed a stout piece of rubber. The extra firm elastomer fits the bill perfectly. Gives my seat just a bit of cushion while not being sloppy. For the cost of the post versus the cost of the elastomers, it would have been nice if all 5 levels of elastomer were included instead of just 3, but it was easy to order, arrived in 2 days, and was lower in cost than I expected.

The relative durometer (stiffness) of the elastomer is denoted by number of dots printed on the elastomer. Thudbuster ST comes with Soft, Medium, & Firm elastomers in the box, with Medium elastomer installed.

Extra Soft - 1 Dot - Rider under 100lbs

Soft (included) - 2 Dots - Rider weight 100lbs - 150lbs

Medium (installed from factory) - 3 Dots - Rider weight 150lbs - 200lbs

Firm (included) - 4 Dots - Rider weight 200lbs to 250lbs

Extra Firm - 5 Dots - Rider weight 250lbs to 330lbs
