Q & A

Will this be compatible with my Dior XT crank 11 speed on a Commencal Meta HT AM? Samuel Otis asked on September 27, 2023

Yes we offer the Hellbender 70 BB for Shimano cranks. Just make sure you choose the correct BB for both the bike's frame and your crank. I am not sure which model year your Commencal is to know the correct BB size, but the XT crank uses a 24mm spindle.

I see that your BSA threadedBB for DUB cranks only supports 68/73 mm wide shells. Any chance you will make them available for 83 mm wide shells? I have a 2020 Cannondale Habit 6 that requires an special Cannondale AI offset crank and a 83 mm BB shell to get the 55 mm chainline. John Smith asked on August 29, 2023

Our BSA BBs will work on 83mm shells but you will not be able to use the plastic spindle sleeve that comes with it. That may not be important to you if you do not have internal cable routing via the BB shell. The bearing cups, etc are the same as BSA BBS for 83mm shells...

Best part of being a part of the Cane Creek family:  It’s very refreshing to work for a small, tight-knit company where we all share the same passions and to develop new products that make cycling better for everyone.
What you’ll find me doing on the weekends: Obviously riding bikes, but also wrenching on bikes or cars, exploring the mountains, and watching F1 races.
How I got here (at Cane Creek): Feeling pretty unfulfilled with a corporate engineering job, I happened to see that Cane Creek was hiring. I jumped at the opportunity to get my hands dirty working on the latest bike tech and was fortunate enough to be offered the position.
