Hellbender 110 Bottom Bracket

The Absolute Best

$329.99

The Hellbender 110 Ceramic uses the highest level of bearing technology available.

Our finest level of Hellbender bottom bracket provides an incredible mix of performance and longevity through the inclusion of Enduro XD-15 ceramic bearings. These bearings feature nitrogen-infused stainless steel races that will not rust or corrode paired with Silicon Nitride ceramic balls. Silicon Nitride is many times harder than steel, and as a result, increases the lifespan of this bottom bracket dramatically.

Like our 110 headsets, Hellbender 110 Ceramic provides the ultimate peace of mind. With the complexities of the modern bicycle, this ‘backbone’ component should not be one you have to worry about replacing.

Highlights:

  • 100% Lifetime Guarantee
  • Enduro XD-15 ceramic bearings
  • Machined aluminum cups
  • Kluber NBU52 Grease

Note: Bottom brackets do not come with spacer kits. If needed, please select a spacer kit from the product menu above and add to cart.

Q & A

What 110 BB would fit my CruzBike S40 frameset Chuck, Gary asked on September 5, 2023

Cruz lists your S40 bike as using a "Bottom Bracket Driveline 68mm English - External Bearing". This would be our Hellbender BSA bottom bracket. This comes in several sizes depending on your cranks' spindle diameter.

I could not find the crank spindle diameter but its likely 24mm or 30mm. If you can contact Cruz Bikes for this information (Crank Spindle Diameter) we can help you pick the correct bottom bracket... email support@canecreek.com for more help.

What BB do I need , I have a raceface 73mm BB NOW Wally asked on August 24, 2023

BB size depends on the frame and crank being used but we do offer BBs for 73mm wide bottom bracket shells. Call or email support@canecreek.com with the make/model/year of the bike and the crank you intend to use and we can help source the correct BB.

Hi, I have a 2022 Trek Slash 9.8 XT with a Shimano Shimano XT M8120, 30T, 55 mm chain line, 170 mm length cranks and Shimano BB-MT501 BSA bottom bracket. Which 110 would work on this bike? Also if the cranks need to be changed, that's ok as I am looking at 5Dev cranks to go with this driveline. Thx! Peter asked on June 22, 2023

Looks like your 2022 Slash uses a BSA threaded BB which is great since that is a solid BB. To use the Hellbender110 you will need a 30mm spindle crank like our eeWings, or Hope, Raceface, and others make cranks with 30mm spindles. 5Dev offers 30mm on their cranks so make sure you choose that spindle size. Make sure to follow the spacing instrucions for the BB and the crank and you're all set.

Our part # for the BSA Hellbender110 BB is # BAI0179

Hello, i have a Rocky Altitude 2023. It’s a press fit 92mm BB and i have Eewing crankset. Which cane creek BB can i choose ? Merci beaucoup Robin asked on May 13, 2023

You will need a BB92 bottom bracket with a 30mm spindle. Unfortunately, this is not available in the Hellbender 110, and you will have to downgrade to the Hellbender 70 (https://canecreek.com/product/hellbender-70-bb-pf41-92-30mm-bearing-bai0159/) in order to get a bottom bracket that will fit both the bike and the cranks.

Best part of being a part of the Cane Creek family:  It’s very refreshing to work for a small, tight-knit company where we all share the same passions and to develop new products that make cycling better for everyone.
What you’ll find me doing on the weekends: Obviously riding bikes, but also wrenching on bikes or cars, exploring the mountains, and watching F1 races.
How I got here (at Cane Creek): Feeling pretty unfulfilled with a corporate engineering job, I happened to see that Cane Creek was hiring. I jumped at the opportunity to get my hands dirty working on the latest bike tech and was fortunate enough to be offered the position.
