eeWINGS MOUNTAIN

TITANIUM CRANKS

eeWings and the included CNC aluminum bottom bracket preloader are the ultimate in stiffness and durability while only weighing a mere 400 grams – in the same weight range as premium carbon cranks but 20% to 30% stiffer.

"What is not to love? The durability of these cranks is not just good, but great. I firmly believe there isn’t a more durable set of arms out there. Keep in mind the eeWing purchase is an investment - these will be the last cranks you’ll ever need to buy."

– Steve Dempsey, freehub.com

Q & A

Will you come out with lengths shorter than 165 in the future? Currently riding with 155s and I think 160s will be my sweet spot Chris asked on September 24, 2023

Perhaps! It depends on demand so I will let our product team know we have interest in eeWings shorter than 165mm.

Are eewings compatible with 55mm CL? They say eewings are 52 mm CL Breed asked on July 28, 2023

Chainline is determined by many factors including the crank. The goal with chainline is to achieve the best chainline for shifting performance, pedaling efficiency and chain wear. eeWings Mountain are Boost cranks so 51-53mm when paired with a 3mm offest chainring. You need a 0mm offset chainring for a 55mm chainline.

Are you considering making an adapter for 4 bolt 104 bcd chainrings? Andrew Rae asked on May 20, 2023

Not at the moment. Most chainrings using 104 BCD are also available in the 3-bolt direct mount the eeWings use. Larger chainrings requiring 110BCD, for Road/Gravel for example, are not as easily found in the 3-bolt direct mount so we offer a 1x and 2x spider in 110 BCD.

Would your Ewing cranks work with a super boost frame set like a 2023 Pivot Trail429 or an Evil Insurgent? Christopher Collins asked on April 11, 2023

Hi there! Thanks for your question. eeWings are compatible with super boost, chainring size may be your limiting factor. eeWings will work with a 30t chainring.

Jenna Toney answered on April 12, 2023

I have them on my Wreckoning... I have problems fitting the stock upper chain guide with it. I also needed to change my stock chainring to 0mm offset.

Peter answered on August 22, 2023

Can I replace my Shimano SLX cranks with the eewings? A simple R/R or will the install be more complicated? I’ve got a Canyon Spectral CF7 with a Token BSA bottom bracket. Standard BSA 68/73

Phil Baker answered on August 23, 2023

Since your Canyon uses a BSA bottom bracket, all you need is to replace the BB with one that can fit 30mm spindle cranks. The eeWings use a 30mm diameter spindle and your Shimano cranks use a 24mm diameter spindle.

We make a BB for the eeWings with our Hellbender model. You can choose from either Hellbender 70 with stainless steel bearings, or our amazing Hellbender 110 with the XD-15 ceramic bearing which has a lifetime guarantee.

Perfection. I immediately noticed the stiffness of these cranks when pushing up steep technical climbs. The durability is incredible. All the reviews said they just shook off rock strikes and I was shocked how true it was…. A high speed rock strike that nearly sent me flying off the bike barely left a scratch and that buffed out with a scotch bright pad. And just look at them. Beautiful works of functional art. Proud to have them on my bike.

Best part of being a part of the Cane Creek family:  It’s very refreshing to work for a small, tight-knit company where we all share the same passions and to develop new products that make cycling better for everyone.
What you’ll find me doing on the weekends: Obviously riding bikes, but also wrenching on bikes or cars, exploring the mountains, and watching F1 races.
How I got here (at Cane Creek): Feeling pretty unfulfilled with a corporate engineering job, I happened to see that Cane Creek was hiring. I jumped at the opportunity to get my hands dirty working on the latest bike tech and was fortunate enough to be offered the position.
