eeSilk Stem elastomers were developed based on rider preference and varying surfaces.
Each eeSilk Stem includes 3 elastomers varying in firmness depending on stem length. We recommend first riding the elastomer that comes installed with the stem to form a baseline. Then change to a softer or firmer elastomer based on preference for more or less compliance.
Verified Ownercan't really say much good about this thing. it's a really cute design from a company that I know can design really functional parts but, this isn't one of those. Yes, it holds the computer in place, Yes it looks good, NO the hardware is NOT of a quality to match these points. I've read the reviews of this mount and I agree, the hardware (mounting screws) are sub standard. torquing these screws as recommended resulted in stripping/rounding, REGARDLESS of how high quality your tools are. I had to replace the three mounting screws, one needed to be drilled out.
Two stars because it does two things right, but I recommend looking elsewhere for a bicycle computer mount.

Verified Owner Verified OwnerThis was a complete waste of money. The holes aren't sized large enough to accept the through-bolts provided. I had to drill out the holes larger to accept the provided bolts. It shouldn't be this way; I decided not to use and go with a competitor's mount instead. Too much hassle; not well designed/executed.
