Asheville, NC –
Cane Creek is excited to announce the GXC stem. This all-new stem is a premium and lightweight option that was specifically conceived for gravel and cross-country mountain bikes, a segment that has lacked attention and representation in the world of premium, aftermarket stems.
The GXC stem is a fully rigid stem that matches the overall size, shape, and proportions of modern, carbon gravel and cross country frames. It’s impressively lightweight, has a luxurious high-polish finish, and is an incredibly good value, retailing for $69.99 USD.
The GXC stem will be available in polished black or silver, from 60mm to 100mm in length.
With their first rigid stem, Cane Creek wanted to create something that still exemplified premium craftsmanship, but that could be easily afforded. The GXC stem represents an addition that Cane Creek hopes will be able to reach a wide variety of riders.
Ranging from 96g – 120g, this stem falls right in line with some of the most lightweight options available and comes in at a fraction of the price. To get another stem with this level of premium finish and minimal weight, riders have historically spent $120 – $200. The GXC stem will sell for $69.99 USD – that’s nearly half the price.
All GXC stems come with stainless steel bolts and have laser etching that clearly indicates the stem length and bolt torque.
They are an excellent complement to any Cane Creek headset, a perfect pairing with their Invert gravel fork, and of course, compatible with the Cane Creek Computer Mount.
Available starting Friday, November 1st at Canecreek.com and select dealers and retailers. Ask your local bike shop about Cane Creek products.
