These posts make great enhancements to gravel or mixed surface bikes by reducing the chatter transmitted from the surface to the rider and can be tuned to rider weight through a simple elastomer change.

  • Bolt-on compliance: Up to 35mm of travel to add comfort and suspension on gravel and mixed-surface rides without adding unnecessary weight to the bike.
  • Parallel-linkage design: Parallel linkage technology stays in the direct path of the natural travel of the rear wheel. As a bump lifts the back of the bicycle, the rear wheel pushes up and forward into the rider.
  • Easy elastomer change: The eeSilk+ seatpost can be tuned for different rider weights and riding styles by selecting the elastomer that best fits rider needs and preferences.

The eeSilk+ seatpost is shipped with a Medium elastomer installed. Extra Soft, Soft, Firm and Extra Firm elastomers are sold separately.

<110lb (<50kg) = #1 Elastomer*
100-160lb (45-73kg) = #3 Elastomer*
150-210lb (68-95kg) = #5 Elastomer
200-250lb (90-113kg) = #7 Elastomer*
200-250lb (90-113kg) = #9 Elastomer*

The eeSilk+ seatpost works great on my Giant Revolt Advanced bike. It really smooths out the sharp edged bumps on our rough and cracked paved roads. It foes the job without calling attention to itself in any negative way. My bike came with a carbon seatpost. With my height, there was not much exposed seatpost. The eeSilk+ is much more comfortable and allows me to contiue pedaling across bumps that I previously would have chosen to lift off the seat.

I thought the cost was a little steep at first, but after my first ride, I knew this was worth every penny. I should have bought one several years ago.

Have no clue, it is probably at best average considering service and insistence on harassment.

My seat comes loose. A friend of mine told me I am missing the thumb tightening gadget for the front bolt. It did not come with my seat post. Please send me one

    • The thumb wheel on the forward saddle clamp bolt is specific to the carbon version of the eeSilk+ Seatpost. It is an additional convenience feature available with the more premium option, but it has absolutely no influence on the saddle staying tight. The cost of the alloy post is kept much lower by using a simpler, steel bolt. This hex-head bolt must be tightened with a open or box end 10mm wrench. If the saddle is slipping, it’s likely that the bolt was not tightened properly.

Excellent addition to my commuter, dramatically improved comfort. Cane Creek quality.
