Headset Bearings

All Cane Creek headset bearings are durable, sealed cartridge bearings, and they’re interchangeable between headset series. Simply match the bearing size and drop in your new bearing. (See below for bearing compatibility).

We cannot guarantee compatibility with our bearings in a different manufacturer’s headset.

Precision engineered by Cane Creek in Fletcher, NC.

Note: BAA2297 is drop-in bearing upgrade kit for FSA IS42/IS52 headsets (commonly found on current Specialized mountain bikes). Designed to work with existing headset bearing cover and compression ring. Sealed crown race included.

What are the angles on the BAA2297 set? Steve Croyle asked on January 13, 2024

The upper bearing has 45/45 angles and the lower is 45 outer, 36 inner. This bearing set includes our sealed crown race to match the lower bearing inner angle, so there is no need for this to match what's currently on the bike.
