The thing about being a part of the Cane Creek family is: working for a company who builds such awesome products which focus on getting people outside. Everyone here has such a passion for what we do and this is reflected in the awesome products we design and build.
What you’ll find me doing on the weekends: Biking, hiking, and exploring the beautiful Asheville area with my family. We love trying new places to eat, exploring the mountains of Western North Carolina, and everything else Asheville has to offer.
How I got here: I always wanted to work for a company where I had a passion for the product we put out (which – lets face it can be challenging in the world of accounting). Combine that with being able to live in one of the best places on Earth and here I am!

Scrolling on Instagram and stumbled upon a Cane Creek post, caption read job opening. I followed up on the open Accounting Position and shortly after locked down a slamming job. When scrolling on social media pays off.

The best thing about being a part of the Cane Creek family is…:

Comradery with all the staff. Great culture and a fun place place to work.
What you’ll find me doing on the weekends:

Spending time with family down at the lake. Doings crafts and baking.
How I got here:  Grew up in a family injection molding business. First job at 16 was running injection molding machines during the summer, 40 hours a week. Later while in college moved into the office and did administrative duties, AR, AP and HR. Found my niche with Human Resources and really enjoyed it. Taught elementary music after college for a while, had babies and raised my kids. Went back full-time into manufacturing and spent ten years in Human Resources. Family business was sold in 2019 and I continued HR in the healthcare industry. So happy to be back in manufacturing/assembly! Knew when I visited Cane Creek the first time that it was a perfect fit!

Best part of being a part of the Cane Creek Family is: My team and being able to ride with some of the best shredders around.
What you’ll find me doing on the weekends: I’m usually in the woods riding bikes, hiking, and dancing. Not usually doing all of those things at once… but sometimes.
How I got here: You miss 100% of the shots you don’t shoot. I knew I always wanted to work in the outdoor industry and I have a love for mountain biking, so when I saw a position at Cane Creek that was similar to the one I was doing at a non-profit organization, I shot my shot and landed the job. The content is VERY different but the passion and love for the job remains the same.

Will Hart

Product Marketing Manager
Name: Will Hart
Position: Product Marketing Manager
Year started: 2023
Best part of being a part of the cane creek family:
Working for a small, employee-owned company where everybody cares about Cane Creek’s success, is genuinely passionate about their work, and knows how to get down(hill) when the work day is done.
What you’ll find me doing on the weekends:
There’s rarely cell service in the woods. Might be hard to find me.
How I got here (at Cane Creek):
After 6 years working at the retail level, I was looking for a new chapter in my bike industry career. With a re-born love for bikes through an unexpected discovery of the more gravity-oriented side of the sport, I started looking for industry sales and/or marketing jobs in places with top level mountain access. I’ve always felt deeply at home in the Mid-Atlantic’s Blue Ridge Mountains, and as a result Cane Creek rose high on the list. I went after it, the timing worked out, and I think I landed where I belong!

What you’ll find me doing on the weekends:
When I’m not riding, I’m either building trails or playing music.
How I got here:
I grew up down the street (literally down Cane Creek road) and built trails on private land 2 miles from Cane Creek. For a time I was the mysterious “Fletcher freeride kid”. When some of the engineers at the time needed a place to test new product, they found out about 16-year-old Sam’s trails and soon they were using me as a “Local Shock Tester” and I dreamt of one day officially working at Cane Creek. 6 years later I was hired on as a Marketing Coordinator have loved working here ever since.

Best part of being a part of the Cane Creek Family is: The fact that it really is like a family here. It’s super cool working with people that want to stay and hang out at the end of the work week and also really want to get to know you as a person. Getting to hang with all of the puppies every week is a perk as well.

What you’ll find me doing on the weekends: If you weren’t able to tell by the hair, I like to party… and by party I mean go searching for the best gravel in WNC, play a little disc golf, go hiking, fish, and probably eat some Bojangles.

How I got here: I’m convinced it was the mullet that landed me the job. But seriously, I grew tired of the flatlands of Oklahoma and was ready for a change of scenery. Working on and being around bikes is just something that I really love; and when Cane Creek gave me the opportunity to live in the mountains and dig deeper roots in the bike industry, I knew it was the place I needed to be.
