Move over Top Model and Top Chief, there’s a new top dog in the house. Yes, that is correct, VeloNews has just named the Subaru-Gary Fisher squad as the top mountain bike program in North America. The announcement comes as part of the annual VeloNews Awards for various cycling categories both road and mountain thorough out the season. Some of the highlights for the Team this season included:

• Four National Championships
• Two series overall titles
• Podium at World Championships
• Top 10th at World Championships
• Top American female overall in UCI
• World rankings
• Second American male overall in UCI
• World standings
• 11 victories
• 17 top-3 finishes
